Games Rabbits Play Part 3

Nilla

Hi everyone. By now, you’ve read about what my sisters like for games, now it’s finally my turn to hop in on this chat.
I would have to say at the top of my list is “hide-and-seek,” because I love to play it with my sister, Kayla. She must know my hiding places because she always finds me. Then I have to go and “seek” her. It seems like that I am always seeking her!
Another game that I like is more like exercising. It’s sprinting. I can play it alone or with Mom or Dad. They say “sprint!” and I sprint around the room really, really fast.
Lastly, obstacle courses are another favorite of mine. My favorite part of them is running through the tunnels.
That’s my list of games that I like to play. Now, you may be asking yourself, “why do we like to play games so much?” Well, each of these games keeps us physically and mentally stimulated which is great for a couple of reasons. The first reason is it increases bonding time with Mom and Dad and the second reason is it curbs potential misbehavior due to boredom. You wouldn’t stick your child in front of a TV all day, you would interact and play games with your child. Same goes for us bunnies.
We hope you enjoyed reading our series on what our favorite games are. Try them out with your bun, it’s bound to bring more enjoyment and closer to your bunny. -Nilla

Games Rabbits Play Part 2

Hello friends. The last entry, my sister Kayla, wrote about her favorite games. Now it’s my turn to share with you what games I like.
At the top of my list is two card games. One is called “Cottontail Cards.” A house of cards is built and then I knock them down. Another card game that I like is “Pick a Card and Find It.” The goal is to find the same card that I picked out. I am really good at it!
Obstacle courses are another favorite of mine. This involves jumping off/over things and running through tunnels or mazes. Watch my video to see how much fun I have in one of these!
Lastly, I, like my sister, love burrowing games. Mom or Dad puts a blanket over me and I find my way out. It is soo much fun! Sometimes I get carried away and I spin myself dizzy- I love it!
As you can see, I have fun playing games. It’s what keeps me active, cause I’m an active bunny. Part 3 of this series will continue with Nilla and what games she likes. Until next time, keep on hopping! -Blitzen

Games Rabbits Play Part 1

Hey everybunny! Did you watch the Olympic Games? I did and loved it! Since the Games just ended, we would like to talk about what games rabbits like to play. Every rabbit likes different games, so I am going to give you my favorites, followed by Blitzen and Nilla.
My first game is called “hide-and-seek.” I love to hide under the couch, behind the hutch or under the bench and have my mom or dad or my sister Nilla come and find me. When they do, I go and hide somewhere else. It’s fun!
The next game I like is bunny bowling. Mom and Dad just got this game for us and it’s great! All it is is a set a bowling pins. They set the pins up and then I knock them down. Rabbits like to knock things over so this is a fun game for me. I get a lot of strikes!
I also like to play burrowing games such as having a blanket put over me and then finding my way out. Oh, and then there’s jumping off and over things as you can see from my picture.
Well, there you have it. My favorite games. Coming up in the next blog, Blitzen will give you hers. Bye! -Kayla
